Sailing Course Skipper Training Objectives
Become a professional skipper in just 18 days with our comprehensive course. We will sail approximately 350 nautical miles through the Northern, Central, and Southern Adriatic waters, learning both the theory and practical skills needed to succeed in this exciting career. Our course covers both theoretical and practical education, giving you the knowledge and hands-on experience you need to thrive.
Completing the Professional skipper course will prepare you to sail in favorable and less favorable weather conditions. Turn your passion for sailing into the ideal summer job!
The program presents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During the course, participants stay and live on board in the presence of a skipper-instructor, and simulate real situations that may occur during their stay on board. The course consists of a theoretical and a practical part that is conducted in parallel for 18 days. No previous sailing experience is required to attend the course.
After 18 days, you can get, if you pass the exam, Croatian licence C, which is an international licence. If you don’t want to get license C, then the course lasts 14 days consisting of the practical part on the sea.
We visit famous Croatian tourism destinations, but also peek into less-known spots of the Croatian coast. Once we set sail from Istria, you will initially discover the islands of Lošinj, Unije, and Susak, further sailing to breathtaking Kornati National Park, heading south towards the islands of Vis, Hvar, Brač, and Šolta.

License category “C”
Skipper license C is an internationally recognized license that allows the holder to operate boats up to 24 meters in length.
This license is required for the recreational operation of boats on the sea and inland waters. Candidates for this license must pass a theoretical and practical exam to demonstrate sufficient knowledge and skills for safe navigation.
If dont want or need a License C, you can participate in the same way as you would attend if you want to get the licence C category.
Some of the reasons why some candidates decide to take the course without applying for a part with a category C license are: already having a license, and the desire to learn/improve only the practical part on the sea.
